The best Startup Podcast out there
I have listened to many startup podcasts, and this one is by far the best. - a must for any founder. Yaniv and Chris break down what matters when starting a silicon-valley-style startup and many things you can directly apply to your business, product or company culture. I especially liked the recent episodes about Prioritization and the "VC Slaughterhouse." I recently started my first company, and if I am ever gonna be a successful entrepreneur, Yaniv and Chris will definitely have played a huge role in it. Thank you for doing this!!

Anyone can listen, especially if you aren’t a founder
I’m a business consultant as a digital product strategist and I get a lot from this podcast. The broad discussions I really appreciate and each episode I leaving quite inspired and motivated having taken a lot of ideas for how I can work better, and provide more value.

Timely latest episode for this founder and his startup
Great episode. It really spoke to the feeling I'm having around building our two-sided marketplace and growing aggressively so we can have our network effects kick in and really assist in taking things to another level for us and our model. It never made a ton of sense to me to go after revenue over growth for what we are doing given we are creating a new market in the same way uber created a new market with peer-to-peer in the existing A to B passenger transportation space. For both us and uber creating that new market that is working means execution of an aggressive growth strategy so as to OWN that new market before some else does. Yet I've had some VCs tell me we need to de-risk their investment for them by hitting certain revenue numbers. This always made me think, well 1 that means slow growth and risking someone else seeing our success and blowing past us on a market WE created! And two, it makes me ask why wouldn't i just use my own revenue to boot strap then? Why do I then need your money Mr VC guy? Timely episode and very succinctly presented. Great job guys! Consistently great! Highly recommend
I found this podcast via LinkedIn and fell in love. It is entertaining, enjoyable and educational. I am so glad that someone shared Chris’ post which lead me to this! If you aren’t already following the podcast then get on it

Lots of value
While I don’t always agree to the opinions of the hosts, I’m smart enough to apply the intentions to my own projects. The content is great and there is always something of value to be gained.

Smart, to the point, inspiring, and entertaining content
I've been listening to these during my morning jogs for the last few months (as I work on setting up my next venture) and I've found myself stopping, getting out my phone and writing little snippets/ thoughts down in my notes (probably not great for my <5min/km run pace as I stop... but I am loving it). Great for early stage founders

10/10!
As a first time founder, discovering this podcast was like finding a gold mine. It’s educational, inspiring, & entertaining. I’m left feeling energized and motivated after each episode and have learned so much in just a few episodes. Yaniv & Chris have so much knowledge & experience in the start up world it’s awesome to be able to listen in and soak up the incredible insight they have to offer.

Hit that follow button!
Excellent consistency and intentional content. Yaniv and Chris have the knack for providing clear and helpful advice. An all round great pod for anyone wanting to build high performing teams and products

Awesome insights with a no nonsense approach
As a consultant and educator, I listen to a lot of podcasts but rarely do I find one that captures my attention in every single episode. A straight forward sharing of information, insights and relevant experience to shed some light on the Silicon Valley style startup (for those of us who have only read about it). Yaniv & Chris have lived it. They are informative and entertaining and their guests add further value with their stories as well. This will be a "must listen to" resource for my Bachelaor of Business (Entrepreneurship) students for Trimester 1 2023 and beyond. Cant wait for Ep 2 for 2023. Keep up the great work guys.

A must for all founders.
This is one of the best podcasts for founders because of its no nonsense approach. These guys share the experience they had working at Uber and Google and bring in some high calibre guests. Top podcast in the genre for mine.

Brutal but thank God! 😜
Huge value! Building a high growth startup in Australia sometimes feels like hunting through the mist for information, and I often feel like my ideas are crazy. But your podcast makes me feel more normal and not like such an outlier. Thank you! Highly recommend your show 🚀

Great content for anyone in for starting a start up
Would recommend to anyone who is passionate about building great products. Especially if you are based in Aus

THE podcast for founders. !
I am not much of a Podcast person but this one is out of this world. Both Yaniv and Chris cover topics that I as a founder find superbly useful. Their delivery style is very engaging and somehow every episode has one or more Aha! moment(s). Almost like Magic ;)

Great content!
Particularly like episode 10, great practical information.

A must for any entrepreneur!
Ive been listening to this podcast since the first episode. As a tech entrepreneur I’ve found every podcast to be a useful discussion starter for myself and within my team. Both Yaniv and Chris provide a balanced discussion coming at very common problems and situations from different angles. The great thing about this podcast are the discussions. They aren’t just agreeing with each other, in fact providing a safe space to actually hear different view points and experiences. I love the practicality of their discussions, as they provide useful tips and learnings that could be applied in my real situation and context.

High wisdom per word
Anyone vaguely in the business sector would benefit from listening to this, in my opinion. Not just startups. As a product manager, I find it helps me elevate my thinking to other functions or problems and focus on the interconnectivity of it all.

Great podcast for operators
Great podcast from two seasoned operators that lends insight into the often murky and scary world of startups. Highly recommended!

Essential listening for anyone involved with startups
This podcast is essential listening for anyone involved in a startup, and particularly for anyone involved in direction and execution. You can find all of the advice contained in other locations, but it’s rarely as succinct and you won’t get Chris Saad telling you ‘Australians are not special’ and the understanding of the local context that comes with this podcast. It’s still extremely listenable if you’re based elsewhere in the world. While the first episodes started out as an excellent guide to building and execution - and avoiding the mistakes so many have made - it has become more than that and now encompasses all areas and aspects of the startup process and environment. I’d like an episode on accelerators, but I’m not paying for this podcast so that’s a wish and not a feature-request (can you believe we get this podcast for free??).

Amazing Podcast!
I’m at the beginning of my journey setting up my own startup and this podcast has literally been a lifesaver! Chris and Yaniv break topics down in an easy to understand and actionable way. 1000% recommend.

Smart people sharing for real experiences
Great support for the ecosystem, easy to listen to, and gets you thinking. Just like talking to mates over coffee.

This is good stuff
Having waded through way too much esoteric content in the big VC podcasts, Yaniv and Chris have been a breath of fresh air with broadly applicable, actionable insights for anyone working on or investing in startups.

Super helpful for startup newbie & enthusiast
Just found this podcast this week and it’s so refreshing to hear an Australian perspective on the startup scene which feels so new sometimes. Combined with the wisdom of all the years of experience these guys have, it’s a great learning resource for anyone in startups. Love it.

Best tech/startup podcast in Aus!
Couldn’t recommend this podcast more for anyone in the startup ecosystem. Yaniv and Chris have done the hard yard in startups/tech and it shows in what they have to say.

Highly Recommend
This is an absolutely brilliant podcast for founders and startup operators alike. It unpacks a lot of the mystery around startups and gives founders tips on what to avoid! It’s also great value hearing from Yaniv and Chris who have incredible insight from both ends of the market (baby startups through to publicly listed tech companies)!!!

Best startup podcast I’ve come across
Can’t recommend this podcast highly enough. Just simple, easy to understand concepts that help drive founders to build great companies and avoid the downfalls of past failed ones. Always learn something new and great to have insight from Chris and Yaniv, who have been there done that! Always excited when a new episode come out 👍

Product led? This is a must listen to podcast
I’m a founder of a product-led, Silicon Valley style startup based in Sydney Australia, and this has become my absolute go-to podcast. The quality of the content and discussion is head and shoulders above what is generally available in Australia. Pleased that these guys have put their neck out & broken the norm that currently exists and circulated by most in the startup community here is Oz. If you are trying to build a product that’s industry disruptive, requires large upfront capital investment & targets growth over initial revenue, add this to your weekly playlist.

Highly recommended for founders and product people
After listening to 6 episodes I would say this is one of the best product led start up podcasts, as a founder trying to find my way to product market fit this has answered many questions in my mind that I would probably have to spend hours to get to an answer to or paid hundreds of dollars in consulting hours to get that answer, well done Chris & Yaniv. As we are talking about raising funds, I would love to hear more about successful strategies you have seen working for founders who can’t afford to quit their jobs to focus on their startups, is it acceptable when asking for a seed fund to allocate part of that to help the founder(s) survive over the next 18 months?

Practical insight
These guys take the startup topics you already know, and breaks them down into their core purpose and meaning, while providing inciteful feedback that is practical and useful along your startup journey. It’s my favourite podcast after one episode. I’m keen to learn more.

How is this free? :o
One of the best podcast out there! This is the type of content that you would sit down and listen in large tech conference. Both Yaniv and Chris provide such insightful knowledge on entrepreneurship within the startup world!

Must listen to anyone in VC / startups
Masterclass in every episode, this is a podcast that doesn’t shy away from in-depth discussion into VC and startups. Highly recommend because the podcast dives into topics that doesn’t get covered in other tech podcasts!
